I hate poems that rhyme. They seem pretentious and perfect. Flowing and careful of syllables. Words that fit, phrases that blend. Screw it. Who has a relationship like that? Who can explain it in rhyme? Emotion lost on single words. Yeah right. Single words can't capture Our love. All I really want to say is, I love you. |
