I burned the okra I pulled some weeds I got chased around The yard by bees I washed the car I fed the dogs Been drinking ginseng tea Since sky blue dawn I wrote this poem While thinking of you You know if you were here We'd have better things to do I made stir fry for supper I fed my son We watched the convention Till it was done Oh Darlin not much else is new I'd just rather have been kissing on you (c)bk |
