god it's amazing how some things never change
given the generation gap
the story remains the same

today it's him
yesterday it was the other him
and the other him reminded me
of your brothers first other her
she was such a bitch
but then again
yesterday it was the other her
and today it is her

both the other him and her
remind me of the other him in my life
yesterday it was the other him
but today it is him
and tomorrow the rest of my life
it will be him

you both will have a number of
other him and hers
before you find the him and her

but despite the generation gap
somethings never change

all is fair
in love and war
as the world turns
