The assault on my faults had me blaming myself for as long as it takes to blink. I think I deserve release from this emotional incarceration- some situations and complications have edited my story of comfort and glory, Scratched out sentences replacing hope with fury. The ending was so gory you had to skip some pages, but those stages are what bind me- you can't rewind me I am what I've been taught Highlighted for battles I've fought I am caught in review and so few can publish the offensive content But I lent you the draft to review and reflect and you neglected my past all the times I finished last- But I learn fast and heal even quicker this skin is thicker than you gave me credit for. |
