I WANT TO KNOW......... When love comes much too easy When love seems much too fast Will the romance really linger ? Will the feelings really last ? Must the couple have to play games Guess and tease till fully taught Must they hide their true intentions Till their objects fully caught Can a lover lose his license to return another day ? Can a friendship made too hasty cause the friends to lose their way ? Should a pair of turtle dovers spend their time in protocol Take the standard steps of ritual one by one till they can fall Does true love need fancy flowers and the rhythym of loves beat Can the fastness of the falling Sweep you right off of your feet ? What I'm trying to say here Laddies And to Lassies just the same Will the fashion of your passion Bring loves simple sweet refrain Does it matter how you get there whether slow or smooth and fast Will results be same or different ?
