I read my old journals the other day and every other page was got drunk again got laid again I'm fat again I'm pathetic again and then I made a list of all the guys from 18 to 31 guys I screwed guys I fucked guys I sucked but never made love not to any of them they were too many to count along with the declarations of change too many to count and the shame and the cutting and the pills all just add to the defamation of my character but don't judge a book by its cover you have to read the layers to find the truth it's too bad men don't read instructions and love doesn't come with directions you wouldn't want a girl like me anyway. |
