I'm feeling shadows falling all around Each haunting memory rings, then surrounds Every moment passes so slowly Memories of a friend that can so provoke me Hurts me, saddens me Then a thought beyond the darkness appears Reinstates the goodness, not my fears For there is greatness in all our thoughts Just sometimes hidden away deep inside the box So If I keep my thoughts focused on the good My memories will stay good, not misunderstood For if not for all the bad How we would ever appreciate all the good... iLYd |
