You are my best friend and my lover The ray of light that brightens my days You're the cloud that brings me rain The moment I anticipate after a hard day We've had our share of troubles But we seem to always pull through We come up stronger and determined To do the best that we can do. When we argue, fuss or fight We tend to have a bitter tongue But no matter what has happened You are always my number one We tend to say hurtful things To touch the emotions of each other But I never mean what I say I can't stand to hurt my best friend and my lover I never thought my heart would feel this Never thought you'd be here with me But something led us back to each other And there's no place else I'd rather be.
