I know it will take for us to climb the sand dunes which divide us here and now. Forgiveness and redemption come in time but yet I know we'll scale them somehow. We once walked hand-in-hand on shores of gold but life had other plans, a rising tide. An angry squall fell angry, fast, and cold. Suspicions took us on a seaful ride. I know it will take time for us to rise above these sand dunes made up of our fears. I know that passed them all are clear, blue skies - where tidal waves are merely joyful tears. We'll walk on shores of gold when this is done - where giant squalls no longer block the sun. |
