How softly settles your cold like silent snow coating a moonlit grave. It came as suddenly as the shadows of night, without a hint of footstep before all the land is darkened. Now my skin too is settled with a thin sheet of ice, covered in your winter, a frosted whisper, a frigid gaze, your hand could freeze the sun. Oh, bind me in your golden threads once more, sweep me in pools of warm silver dipped stars. A hint of warmth, a touch of ember, a kiss of firefly, bless me in flame or the grave is where I am soon to lie.
