I'm a little afraid of where this generation of men is going with the idea of romance and "true love". "I'd catch a grenade for ya but you won't do the same." - Bruno Mars. You got that right Bruno, good luck with that grenade. Men, here's a few tips for you: Just because you are willing to risk life and limb for me or travel to the end of the world or to the bottom of a vodka bottle does not mean I am supposed to love you back. For your own sake men don't be one of the stories I tell my friends or any of my future boyfriends. "Oh yeah he loved me so much he did this for me." DO NOT BE THAT STORY. I have a mind. It is my own. I have a heart. I choose who I give it to. You're willing to die for me? Yes, that is tragic but really I don't have to give a damn. And most importantly of all: I do not have to love you for it. |
