While I’ll admit my head is hard
Yours is solid granite
A razor sharp forum
Of straight line storms
Loaded with lightning
My great sin
Was taking you higher
Than you had flown
What you didn’t see
Or refuse to put into your equation
Was that it was the same for me
So put that into your pipe and smoke it
Your barometer was broken not by me
But by the combination of WE
(Us for English majors who don’t believe in poetic license)
Toke on that for a moment
Then when your human spirit
Comes back into focus
Try real hard to find
A make love not war
Way to stroke it
