In about a year, you made me believe in myself helped me believe that I could achieve whatever I hoped to accomplish in this mad world and you opened my heart, and put a band-aid on all my wounds YOu opened my eyes to believe that i'm beautiful, worthwhile, and unique In about a year, you became my companion Yet you asked for nothing in return, but gave me everything I just hope that I gave you something to take back That my patch on your quilt is larger than anyone you've had thus far You made such an impact, that I'm still feeling the effects of you When I wash my hair, or when I drive my car I can't help but smile, and think, that this time last year was such an adventure that if given a second chance, without question, I would relive every single moment of it Even the bad times, because with the bad times, came the good and with the unappreciative things I did, I learned what really mattered to me You You did more for me in about a year then anyone has done for me in a lifetime the happiness that i shared with you is immeasurable my only hope is that our memories will reside in your heart as they reside in mine..just think it was only about a year, yet a lifetime of memories |
