Sometimes it rain on summer While sun smiles throughout October. Some nights you can't go over Some mornings you can't put asunder. Flowers don't always bloom in May Yet love withers anytime of the day. There are friends who have come to stay But there are flames who simply fade away. Not all gemstones are precious And all that glitter isn't gold. False diamonds are dangerous Strangers as bold. Not every hero deserves a monument Neither all angels have halos. Some affairs may have sacrament But those without, are not necessarily shallow. Roses may have thorns So is a romance overly-adorned. Some dreamers simply dream Dreamers who only lean. Some learnings take time But the choice is in your hands. Sometimes it rains on summer. Some nights you can't get over. There are flames who simply fade away. As love withers anytime of the day. Dreams unearned. Lessons unlearned. As the rain pours on a summer's day. |
