So bluntly you write, don't call then you have the nerve to tell me to take care as if you really care as if my feelings mean one iota to someone as callous as you just this time last year we were making plans smiling and making love now we are two worlds apart while remaining less than a day apart in actual travel time how could you be so cold towards someone that once made your heart skip a beat i don't call because i respect your wishes even though i know that you're dying inside and i'm dying right along beside you but i'd rather die than call someone whose voice sends chills down my spine the coldness, the tone, and the voice are entirely foreign as well as the feigned concern for my welfare don't worry i woudln't call and mess up your planned misery nor would i call to brighten my day because calling would only cause you to tell me not to call again |
