Why is it that when prayers aren't answered we curse god or wonder why he hates us but when they are answered, in a state of confusion we lie paralyzed unable to make heads or tails of any situation trying mindlessly to solve the meaning of life answered prayers complicate life i prayed for someone like you but wasn't prepared when you entered my life your perfection sets me off balance your kindness drives me to madness do i want you or do i want a challenge do i need to be with someone nice or someone that heats my oven but then again, you do so while stimulating my brain its too early to make a decision but somehow your mindset makes me think that you want to settle down but am i the girl for you our careers are mirrors, but could we be for eternity answered prayers have thrown my life in a tailspiu be careful what you wish for maybe i'm just afraid to be happy so i'm deciding to be too cautious what if i mess this opportunity up or will he turn out like every other perfect loser i've dated a facade as thick as mud oh, how many times god has reminded me, with a sharp slap in the face, that answered prayers aren't always a blessing |
